About the event
Delve into the fascinating geology of scenic Little Cottonwood Canyon from the canyon’s mouth to its lofty alpine basin. Trip includes a 1-mile (round trip) walk on a level path and a short steep hike of only 0.1 mile. Price also includes a scenic Snowbird tram ride to the top of Hidden Peak (elevation 10,992 ft). Lunch is bring your own or enjoy the deli or grill at Snowbird’s plaza. No dogs are allowed anywhere in Little Cottonwood Canyon (watershed). Please dress for a variety of weather conditions and bring plenty of water.
