Often called a "mini-Zion" but with much more diverse geology, Snow Canyon State Park features incredible scenery and fascinating geology. This remarkable area lies within the transition zone between the Colorado Plateau and Basin and Range provinces. Learn the stories behind the striking red and white sandstones, young lava flows, inverted valleys and arches within this amazing park.

Trip includes several short hikes up to 1.5 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain on sandy or rocky trails. Participants should bring a sack lunch, snacks, water and appropriate clothing/foot ware each day. We will organize a carpool at the meeting point.
